Didn’t think they would play a double header tomorrow since they play the Nats 17 more times, its not like its an AL opponent, where they wouldn’t be able to sneak a game in.

What do you mean T Marty? The game is cancelled? The Phils were going to be on WPHL and the Flyers are going to be on CSN, the Sixers are on CN8 unless they want to change over to WPHL but i doubt it at this point.

Gee.thanx Griffin…I hope you can muster up and yell Lets Go Padres THIS weekend too, And I don’t mean “Go home Padres” or “Go Padres, and take the Chargers with you.”

Sorry Miner, I have to root against the Mets. I can actually see the scoreboard from my apartment on the UES and it annoys me. Have you been to Citi Field yet? I’m hearing mixed reviews.

It’s still weird driving past the site on the GCP and not seeing Shea, I guess eventually I’ll get used to it. I miss the spaghetti men though.

lol,was on YouTube, and a few weeks ago, caught up with Mets/Phillies opening day 1982 was the 1st Met game I went to with my dad and brother(someone else taped the game). It was a happy recap as the Mets won 5-2 with Kong getting a 3 run shot.To see Carlton,Michael Jack, and Rose in person was a gift all in itself.I will always be a Mets fan,but I do respect a Hall of Famer (Albiet Pete Rose is in The WWE Hall of Fame next to the Junkyard Dog and the Gobbleygooker)

My first game was a Mets-Phillies game in 1980 (I was 1) against the Mets.

One of the first games that I actually remember going to was “Strawberry Sunday” at Shea where they gave away Strawberry sundaes that I sloppily spilled all over myself.
