those are rather terrible numbers at AA … proving once again how WIN TOTALS don’t mean a thing

have to agree. all that anyone has been mentioning was his W-L in AA. this is the first i’ve actually seen his ERA. YIKES!

I really don’t have too high hopes for this first round draft pick.

That’s why there is still time to package Happ, Dom Brown and Savery to the BJ’s for Doc.

    Any takers?

4.41 ERA earns a promotion? Since when did Adam Eaton get back in our minor league system?

    Hopefully Savery works himself out.

Maybe they are hoping that different coaches can help him out with that ERA problem. I’m glad they did it though cause the trade for Lee pretty much emptied out to poor Pigs. Need to get some more talent to them.

Savery has been putrid (27.2 IP, 41 H, 26 ER, 14 BB/19 K), in his last five starts. Perhaps the promotion is just for one start, and he’ll be back in Reading, when Kendrick is sent back to AAA next week?

I figured that, but you just never can tell with some of the folks on here..

Kendrick didn’t get moved anywhere.. I would’ve bet my life that he went somewhere this year if for no other reason then “Change of Scenery” ..

I believe Carrasco last year was struggling at AA and they promoted him and he dominated.

His numbers aren’t horrible, but he needs work on his control. Maybe they thought he needed a different style pitching coach? Who knows. 55 bb’s are killing him. I’ll bet some of those 13 dingers were grooved to avoid a walk. Anyway his stuff has suppossedly been pretty good when he gets it over.

Where and when is Pedro’s game tonight?

Maybe one other thing. they have 5 starters in AA so maybe someone is coming up soon and the needed to make room in the rotation and they have room in AAA because Carrasco is gone?
