I am a huge follower/fan of Phillies Nation. Usually, I visit your blog to catch up the latest news with the Phillies, however, tonight I am writing to you to beg! 🙂
It is my honor to inform you that my aunt, Annmarie Hagan, has been nominated as a candidate for the 2011 Woman of the Year award with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in Philadelphia! Annmarie is a SURVIVOR of Inflammatory Breast Cancer, an extremely aggressive form of cancer with low survivor rates. To celebrate her health and well-being as well as her recent charitable venture, I have joined Annmarie’s campaign team and we are currently in the midst of a 10-week “race” for Annmarie to become Woman of the Year by raising the most funds possible which will help the LLS’s mission to find a cure for all cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Our goal is to raise $100,000 in the 10 week period and we need your help!
We are raffling a fantastic package (please see attached poster with photos) to raise funds for this very worthy cause and, on behalf of Team Annmarie, I would like to say we would be HONORED to have you plug a mention of this raffle fundraiser within one of your upcoming blog entries and Facebook status updates.
