First Chase Utley, now Domonic Brown. We all know Brown will miss 3-6 weeks after breaking a bone in his hand/wrist yesterday. Tough blow for the kid but lets hope he comes back better from the ordeal.

As for Utley, might be a while for him too, after receiving a cortisone shot in his ailing knee.

Today, the Phillies partake in a split-squad game – the other half of the team is taking on the Detroit Tigers.

Phillies: Rollins SS, Victorino CF, Ibanez LF, Howard 1B, Polanco 3B, Gload DH, Young RF, Orr 2B, Schneider C.

Howard with a HR in Clearwater, Mayberry with a HR in Lakeland…good power.

And now Schneider joins the HR club! The wind is wearing Phillies colors today!

Wheels and McCarthy being annoying, Ryan Howard looking good at the plate, Schneider and Raul working good counts, two homers… ah, nearly all is right with the world today.

Cliff Lee gets his 5th strikeout, then I flip the channel to MLB network and watch Jayson Werth strike out himself. That sounds about right…
