Phillies Nation TV: Hamels/Harper; Werth/Philly

On this latest edition of Phillies Nation TV, we talk about two big topics from this week; Cole Hamels plunking Bryce Harper and Jayson Werth ripping Philadelphia.

Natalie jumps in with some reader comments and questions, as always.

Our minor league contributor, Jay Floyd, also joins us for some chatter about the Phillies farm system. He highlights some players who are making waves and others who are not.

juuuuuust posted about Diekman – after checking up on our AAA-pitchers .. and then saw that everyone’s in the same mind frame .. it’s WHEN, not IF he’ll be called up . . . . . . it just seems to me that a guy with such Strikeout potential, and shutdown stuff should be given a serious look over a guy “with experience” …

Diekman should absolutely be called up today. Phils’ pen is tired, Diekman is fresh, having not pitched since Saturday.

Worst relievers’ ERA in MLB…it’s time for someone new. Sanches, Qualls and Savery aren’t doing well at all.
