I dont want Youlkis. I might have to bite my tongue for saying that. However he fits into what most posters usually rant about. Signing older players some are of which at or near the end of their careers. To make matters worse a ailing one with a 12 Mill contract. One whos had a bad year the before and a mediocre one the year before that. Im just not sure i want to go down the path, to add to our own ailing, aging, near the end of the careers players we already have.

Hey I don’t know if it’s on your end but over the last couple of weeks or so I have ran into a few occasions where I am on PhilliesNation and I get redirected to spam websites that feature a pop-up which basically doesn’t allow you to leave the page.

The reason I think it’s on your end is because it has happened on 3 different computers while accessing this website.

Just looking out for fellow readers as well as myself.

Thanks for the heads up man. It’s something I’ve seen myself. We’ll be working on that.

PS How do you not see Pierre as the obvious candidate for lead-off? He’s got the best average on the team after Chooch and has the most speed outside of Victorino, who has too much pop for the leadoff spot. Plus he’s been a leadoff hitter for many, many years. I don’t see how that’s even an area to think about.

No as far as whether I think J-Roll should be demoted….I say not yet but he’s got a short leash I think.
