Fox Sports Jon Paul Morosi reported earlier today that as many as six teams have scouted Phils’ CF Shane Victorino including but not limited to the Dodgers, Rangers, Tigers, Pirates, Marlins, and Giants. Morosi states that one executive thinks Victorino will be the first “big” MLB name traded. Jon Heyman also reported today that the Yankees have interest in the Flyin’ Hawaiian.

Cole Hamels will receive an offer of around $120 million within the next few days according to Heyman. Ben Nicholson-Smith of MLB Trade Rumors speculates that the offer will have to exceed the similar deal handed to Cliff Lee in December 2010 and fall somewhere near Johan Santana‘s 6-year, $137.5 million deal. Nicholson-Smith says some MLB agents believe Hamels can earn up to $150 million as a free agent. The Angels, Dodgers, Rangers, Pirates, Tigers, Marlins, and Giants reportedly scouted Hamels’ last start and Ken Davidoff of the New York Post is reporting the Yankees will keep tabs on the lefty.

Lastly, we learned today that the A’s are searching for shortstop options. The A’s are not in on Jimmy Rollins, but Danny Knobler of CBS Sports believes Rollins may be a fit for the Dodgers with Dee Gordon out. Ken Rosenthal reported today that teams are interested in Rollins but are having a hard time justifying his contract. For what it’s worth, Rollins has been worth about $11.2 million this year for the Phils according to FanGraphs, earning around $11 million annually, and on pace to have a better season than he did last year, contrary to what Knobler reported.
