Phillies Nation TV: Halladay’s Shoulder, Biddle at Reading

Screen Shot 2013-05-14 at 8.53.51 PMHere is the latest episode of Phillies Nation TV with Pat Gallen, Corey Seidman, Ryann Williams, and Jay Floyd.

Pat got a chance to speak with a local doctor about what goes into a surgery like the one Roy Halladay will undergo. Jay spoke with top minor league prospect Jesse Biddle at Reading, and he talked about what it would be like to get the call to the bigs.

I’d be surprised if Biddle is not promoted to AAA much like Pettibone last year, especially if he has “good success” (we’re seeing “stellar success” now, which I wonder why Jay didn’t ask him about it) as the weather heats up. I think he’s due for a call-up to the Phils in late 2014 and will be in Spring Training with the club this winter. I’d like to see him have success with a catcher other than Rupp, but it’s nice to be reminded of the Halladay-Chooch battery from 2010 & 2011 with the Biddle-Rupp battery in AA. Anyway, I’m looking forward to a rotation with Hamels, Kendrick, Morgan, Pettibone, Lee and Biddle in 2015 – similar to 2011 with a six-man rotation. This is too exciting!!!

Nice segment… keep posting these b/c I can only view them here.

Hopefully today Cole Hamels can enjoy a win tonight, with some support from a few friends. I personally enjoyed the booing of Rollins last night, this is the person who needs some rest. What a let down when he pops up. Go Phils. Congrats to Brown and Mayberry.
