The Phillies will look to John Lannan to stop Yasiel Puig and the Dodgers tonight, who have won six in a row. Last night, Puig won the game for them with a 2-RBI single in the seventh off of Justin De Fratus. He’s been a sensation so far this year, and he’s batting .500 against lefties (13-26). Lannan, a lefty has a cool 5.84 ERA this year, and is coming off a poor outing against the New York Mets, and has battle an injury already in 2013.

Chris Capuano, the Dodgers starter tonight, has also spent some time on the DL, and he will make a third appearance since being activated as well. He hasn’t given up a run since he came back, which has been 11 innings.

Lineup: M Young 3B, Utley 2B, Rollins SS, Brown LF, D Young RF, Mayberry 1B, Revere CF, Ruiz C, Lannan P

tl-horizontal_mainYour Gameday Beer– Port Brewing Co. SPA (summer pale ale)

You’ll need something to refresh you, and that won’t be easy on his hot evening. That’s why we present to you a refreshing summer pale ale from Port Brewing, from Southern California. SPA is a largely citric and piney blast of hop aromas that greet you. It has a very dry finish, but will refresh you nonetheless. Some corn on the cob, sweet potatoes, and filets on the grill would kindly go with this brew. -By Pat
