Phillies Game Postponed

Tonight’s Phillies game versus the White Sox has been called due to torrential downpours that have turned Philadelphia into one giant puddle.

They have scheduled a doubleheader for tomorrow. Tomorrow’s game, originally with a 4:05 p.m. start time, has been moved up an hour, starting instead at 3:05 p.m.. Tonight’s postponed game is scheduled to begin at 8:15 p.m. tomorrow night.

Tickets for tonight’s game will be honored for the second game tomorrow.

As of this post, starters for either team in tomorrow’s doubleheader, and which game they will start, have not yet been announced.

UPDATE (6:54 p.m.): The Phillies have announced that Jonathan Pettibone will start the day game while John Lanna will start the nightcap.
