Phillies Recall Aumont, Activate Carlos Ruiz

After a 14 inning game on Tuesday night the Phillies needed some relief help for a tired bullpen. The Phillies recalled 25-year old Phillippe Aumont from AAA Lehigh Valley. The Phillies also activated Carlos Ruiz from the disabled list and optioned catcher Cameron Rupp to AAA Lehigh Valley. To make room for Aumont on the 40 man roster the Phillies designated reliever Jeff Manship for assignment.

Who knows, maybe the 22nd time will be the charm for Aumont…..

Dude, it seems like you have the hots for him. Its like you want to block the urge to like him. I mean, he does look real good in his uniform, but damn dude, you should not act like that.

I really hope he makes it this time. I have followed him his whole life, from the Athletic Association HS in florida to Boston College in MA. I love you man! Its your boy blue! Keep up the great work. You’re going to make it man! Woohoo, best news I heard all day. I watch you all the time man, I watch you on youtube and stuff. I like when you clean your cleats, you look real cool when you do that. Wow, I am going to get season tickets from the remainder of the year.

It’s funny as I was watching the Manship becoming grouded on the shore last night, I thought Aumont can’t be much worse.

    Now there’s a ringing endorsement!
