Another must win game for the Phillies.

Only 1.5 games behind the Mets.

Despite a disgraceful 6-13 record vs the Mets.

    We can do this guys.

    Such a huge game.

    Its on ESPN

    The nation is watching.

There is a buzz in the air.

    GO PHILS!!!!!!!!!!!!

    no hitter through 6

Unfortunately is a storm in Waldorf and lost satellite feed for now!

      September 1, 2014 at 3:43 pm

Did you have the feed when Revere had the 3-run bases-clearing triple?

Score is now 5-0 in the top of the 8th, still a no-hitter for the Phils, but Hamels is out at 108 pitches.

WOO HOO! Revere hits, run scores, I think he’s responsible for ALL the RBIs tonight.

    • Tracey

      September 1, 2014 at 4:06 pm

Nope, sorry, 5 out of 6 RBIs are Revere’s. Still runners on 1st and 2nd with one out.

HAHAHAHA Error loads the bases (but they’re not calling it an error – sun was in his eyes and the ball nearly hit him in the crotch)

  15. Tracey

    September 1, 2014 at 4:12 pm

HAHAHAHA!!! 7-0, as Howard walks in a run

        September 1, 2014 at 4:20 pm

We go to the bottom of the 9th, Phils up 7-0, Papelbon damn well better not blow this no-hitter

  17. Tracey

    September 1, 2014 at 4:18 pm

They say this would be the first combined no-hitter in Phillies history… if Pappy doesn’t blow it.

  18. Tracey

    September 1, 2014 at 4:19 pm

Would be the 12th no-hitter in Phillies history

  19. Tracey

    September 1, 2014 at 4:21 pm

  24. Tracey

    September 1, 2014 at 4:25 pm

Lots of reaction shots from the field and the dugout.

  25. Tracey

    September 1, 2014 at 4:27 pm

Hamels had a lot of walks in this game, and he knew that his control wasn’t what he wanted, so he didn’t argue when they took him out.

Murphy is interviewing all four pitchers — Hamels, Papelbon, Giles, and… not sure who the fourth is.

Giles has been a bright spot in a dismal season. Phillies are close to a .500 team since Giles was promoted to the team.
