Halladay’s 34 will go unworn in 2018

Todd Zolecki reports the number will go unworn in honor of former Phillie Roy Halladay, who died Nov. 7 in a plane crash in the Gulf of Mexico.

Andrew Knapp wore No. 34 last season; he will change numbers.

No word yet on if this means the Phils will formerly retire Halladay’s number.
