Looks like a good game tonight, however the Phils if need be can empty out their bullpen because without a shadow of a doubt, tomorrows game will be rained out because of Hanna and be well rested. But Sunday will be looming and looking at a Day/Knight twin bill.Hope y'all in Philly fare well with Hanna as well.

Oh and can't forget my bitter rivals in South Jersey......Be safe tomorrow.

My roommate is a diehard Met's fan, and he hates Vic more than anyone. A.K.A, I love Vic more than anything.

^^^ Is that a Dark Knight reference? Hope so.

I was just fooling around with some data, and came up with this for anyone who's interested.. Myers' last time out: http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y205/ljump12/?action=view&current=Myers830Big.jpg I plan on doing a lot more data analysis including strike zone location.. but i'm just getting started on this, so give me some time. -Brian

We could use the rain here, my garden is parched, but hope it doesn't interfere with the game. I am about to put on my lucky 1980 pink Phillies Fever t-shirt, haven't worn it since the 80's, has a few holes, but I will try anything. My dad taught me superstition, particularly with the Phils, at an early age. During the 1980 playoffs and ws, if the Phils were ahead I wouldn't move for an entire game for fear of changing their luck. Strange but harmless. PHILLIES FEVER!!!!

Man, feeling anxious. Just get this game started already!

Comment by: Eli on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
why so serious? we still got the division

Comment by: NEPA on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
I'm nervous to watch this game. I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself if they start losing these games.

Comment by: SJ Mike on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
NEPA, I've been nervous since I got over my initial anger after Wednesday's loss.

Comment by: SJ Mike on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
By the way, I love this extreme overconfidence by Mets fans. From Metsblog "This series is so more important for the phillies. We have no pressure on us at all. I have no doubt we will win 2 out of 3 cause we have seen no different this year."

Comment by: NJ on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
Yep it's textbook, in the heads of blogging Mets fans reality doesn't exist. The Angels storming the AL West feel pressured to not get complacent but the Mets fans with just a 3 game lead are already inquiring about WS tickets becuase there's 'no pressure on them at all'...

Comment by: NJ on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
Seriously when did the Yankees become the respectable team in NYC?

Comment by: SJ Mike on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
NJ, I've been thinking the same thing. I honestly think the Yankees and their fans have been humbled as of lately realizing that you have to earn success and the postseason. They have dramatically quieted down as of late. I have a lot of friends who are Yankees fans and we get along when it comes to baseball a hell of a lot better as of late. I met Tom McCarthy in December and I asked him at what point did he think Mets fans became more obnoxious then Yankees fans and he started laughing.

Awesome, using the running game. Gotta get this run in.

Comment by: Joshua on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
Lets just give Pat the gold glove right now

Comment by: NEPA on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
Strike three on wright, bullshit call.

Comment by: SouthPhilly on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
Dare I say it, but don't they look like they brought some swagger to Queens?

Comment by: Manny on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
Good effort by Pat the Glove And very nice double play... Lets go PHILS

Comment by: NJ on Gamenight: Phillies (76-64) At Mets (79-61):
