Man Or Machine?
Posted by Tim Malcolm, Thu, February 14, 2008 10:47 PM

You decide.
(This is the T-shirt the Phillies are sporting upon entering camp. It says “MAN OR MACHINE?” below the pseudo-creepy/dreamy photo of Burrell, and on the back it says “WINNING STARTS NOW.”)
That’s awesome.

…posted by Matthew Cerrone…at metsblog.com
As noted earlier, Carlos Beltran reported to camp today, earlier than expected. He took some swings, then talked with reporters.
According to SNY’s Kevin Burkhardt, when asked about the division, Beltran gave a bland response. However, before walking away from reporters, he smiled, laughed and said:
“Tell Jimmy Rollins we are the team to beat.â€
…ding, ding, ding…let the games begin, folks…
nice photo……..phags

What can I say but wow….for all you philly fans out there sitting at home (or your trailer park) in a bear soaked wife beater still chanting e..a…g..l…e…s eagles! (fyi the giants won the superbowl) this is a new low. Burrell who managed to have a good season for once last year is now your homosexual poster boy, congrats!!! I hope wagner throws one high and tight to his head this year

“PAT THE BAT” a.k.a. “THE MET KILLER” has a weakness!!!!
NO MORE HOMERS OVER THE LEFT FIELD FENCE!!!!!
All the Mets have to do is put up a picture of David Wright in his Jock Strap on the JUMBO TRON!!!!!
HAHAHAHA!!!!

Comments getting a little out of hand, and when I mean a little, I mean a lot. It’s awful when a few rotten apples have to spoil the basket.

One time, I got into an incredibly heated argument whether Pat Burrell has a lazy eye or not… the jury is still out on that one.
February 19th, 2008 at 12:01 pm
[...] to lenient and lax with his core of young talent and constantly hurt veterans. First, the whole Man or Machine Pat Burrell shirts get laughs for all the wrong reasons. Pat Burrell is terrible and overpaid. While a decent second [...]

This was yet another joke stemmed from Brett Myers. Duh. Wake up people. Don’t be jealous you have a fat steam roller body compared to this picture you stinkin met fans! Go eat another white hot dog weirdos. Rather than copy off J-roll and call the division that stupid unoriginal inbreed should have stated he ate more hotdogss in the offseason cuz that is definitely true! lol. Why oh why do you think by signing 1 pitcher that is going to make your team? We had the best closer in baseball and who picked him up? Mets. Did whiney ol’ wagner earn his paycheck? hahaha not in the least. I can’t wait til this turns into a huge flop and all the smets fans can go cry in the new stadium waiting to be occupid by the REAL new york team. The spankess.
April 1st, 2008 at 12:05 am
I’d say the negative comments are from men who are just plain jealous. Grow up and hit a gym, ya softies.

June 23rd, 2008 at 12:03 am
I love how this one idiot fan of the Mets says…”I hope Wagner throws one high and tight at his head”…and doesnt realize that History says Burrell will STILL hit it out of the park…faggot mets fans….
June 28th, 2008 at 10:07 pm
Hey Mets fans last time I check the Phillies are winning the NL East and won it last year. And if I’m not mistaken going to the Giants is the wrong choice since I believe most fans are either Jets/Mets or Yanks/Giants so picking the 2 best of 4 teams isn’t too difficult…nice try though.
Ohhhh right and we also have the past 2 MVP’s and Chase Utley isn’t too bad either.
September 9th, 2008 at 10:51 pm
so in all seriousness where can you get one of these shirts..or can we have one made think the phillies would mind? lol
September 16th, 2008 at 7:31 pm
the mets are a bunch of piece of shit spics!!!,,, Burrell has reyes and delgado as his garden hands in the offseason,,,,,
October 17th, 2008 at 11:02 pm
