<description>I didn&#039;t watch the game, but from what I&#039;ve read, this game epitomizes how the season is supposed to be going (aside from Rollins&#039; injury).

Myers went eight strong.
Vic got on base three times and scored a run.
Burrell inspires fear in opposing pitchers.
Lidge picked up a workmanlike save.

Charlie finally is letting Bruntlet rot in the eight hole where he belongs. Which brings me to my point: why not let Utley bat second, and keep the next two or three guys in a row. In other words, until Jimmy comes back:

Vic
Utley
Howard
Burrell

After that, it&#039;s a coin toss between the right fielder, the catcher and the third baseman (depending on who is pitching, who is hot, etc.). Then Bruntlet, then pitcher. Maybe, you even bat Burrell third and Howard fourth.

I&#039;m not sure why Charlie feels the need to keep Utley in the three-hole and Burrell in the five-hole during these games when Rollins is out. Burrell is hitting .400; give him a shot to get another at-bat per game.
