i’m with Mike T. went to the game – great day for it, but got burnt.

Phils bats were on fire. Myers used a lot of pitches & didn’t look crisp most of the innings, but no damage was done.

if i had to find a fault with this game, it was 3rd base coach Steve Smith – sending a slow Burrell home with one out, in the first inning. keep Pat on third, and let the next two batters work him home. i could have hit Backe today….

As long as they take 2 out of 3 in series and avoid losing streaks theyll befine. Myers seems to have settled down now a little bit. ive been hard on pat burrell over the years but i have to admit hes been on fire since the all star break last year.

Clay Condrey needs to be moved off of the Phillies roster. He once again looked shaky and is the sore thumb in that pen. I understand he is the last arm in the pen, but the Phillies could do better!

Just a note to everyone: wear sunscreen, I got smoked at the game today – no good.

I guess doubling twice and driving in a run isn’t quite good enough, as Geoff Jenkins still holds the Steve Jeltz award.
