He’s back.
Jimmy Rollins returns to the starting lineup after a practical month off nursing an ankle injury. Pedro Feliz returns to the place he played his entire career. Cole Hamels is on the hill, looking to rebound from a mediocre start last time out, against the Giants.
Phillies: Cole Hamels (3-3) 3.10 ERA
Giants: Pat Misch (0-0) 5.40 ERA
Gametime: 10:15 p.m.
Weather: 50 degrees, fair
Lineup: Rollins, Victorino, Utley, Howard, Burrell, Werth, Feliz, Ruiz, Hamels

Your gamenight beer: Since San Francisco is close enough, grab a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. It’s an awesome beer that you can drink at any time with anything. But tonight, have it with some Pad Thai.
Go Phillies!

Ever wondered what baseball and slots had in common?

May 9th, 2008 at 11:17 pm
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again - we are not a good baseball team right now.
May 9th, 2008 at 11:33 pm
it’s hamels tonight in the lineup- not myers. And we’ll be fine with jimmy back.
May 10th, 2008 at 12:43 am
Got to admit, when Jimmy’s hitting lots of things open up — RBI chances for the big guys. Runs scored when the lower guys get on. Welcome back!
May 10th, 2008 at 2:05 am
I’ll say we are a good baseball team right now. Whenever somebody’s struggling- another guy picks up the slack and pulls through. 21 wins is two less than the top of the majors. The Phillies play as a team. They haven’t given up on Howard- he’ll come through soon. So will Myers. No guarantees for Eaton. Anyway, great game tonight GO PHILS!!!
May 10th, 2008 at 2:12 am
TELL JIMMY ROLLINS I’LL BE BATTING .218 THIS YEAR!!!
May 10th, 2008 at 2:59 am
JA Happ had 13 strikeouts tonight in AAA and only allowed one run (a solo homer). With Eaton struggling recently he may get called up sooner than later.
May 10th, 2008 at 7:19 am
It is nice to see the Phillies continue to battle back, but I would like to see them just destroy the Giants for one game. Nice to see Jimmy back in the lineup. Hopefully it also pays dividends for the big guy.

The Mike T reverse curse lives on. Every time he says something stupid about being a bad team, the Phillies win.
Thanks Mike!
May 10th, 2008 at 11:00 am
Yeah… Mike T is such a predictable pessimist. the moment the Phillies trail in a game he reacts in a knee-jerked manner…”the phillies are a bad team”. (chuckle)
May 10th, 2008 at 12:18 pm
Jimmy Rollins is the man.
