Your gamenight beer: Grab a Bass. A traditional English ale, it’s pretty good and basic. No frills, all taste. To eat, have a greek salad. It’s a warm weekend — live it up.
Go Phillies!

Apologies — better late than never. It’s small, but I wanted to get it done.
May 24th, 2008 at 7:43 pm
brett through 1 and 2 earned…
May 24th, 2008 at 7:55 pm
RYNO! 2-for-2 with a double and a homer. NICE.
May 24th, 2008 at 8:11 pm
Great job by Coste to call a time out and call a new pitch.
May 24th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
Taguchi just hasn’t been a good addition.
May 24th, 2008 at 9:30 pm
Taguchi cant really contribute I agree. Call-ups can do what he does for less. Myers’ outing is good for like a 4th starter. Thats kind of what he is right now. THey need a second starter. Still..You can leave myers in the rotation, just take eaton out and move myers back behind moyer AFTER you trade for a number 2. which its obvious HAS to get done before too long. or you can trade myers for another starter on a team that needs a closer. who knows. damn mess.
May 24th, 2008 at 9:43 pm
theyd better get to this guy
May 24th, 2008 at 9:46 pm
ok, now all they have to do is just get contact and play fundamental baseball and move the runner over. nice and easy, dont go ripping golf swings at it. just get good contact.
May 24th, 2008 at 9:51 pm
they are CALLING OUTvictorino. this is situational hitting this is what clutch players do. step up when it counts please.
May 24th, 2008 at 9:51 pm
Why would you run with ruiz? Charlie should have let him bunt and saved Dobbs for a situation where he can really help. Ruiz can bunt……..oh never mind thanks for throwing the ball away. Still should have saved Dobbs
May 24th, 2008 at 9:53 pm
2 Nights in a row Victorino continues to come up really small!
May 24th, 2008 at 9:54 pm
FUCKKKKKKKKKK victoino
May 24th, 2008 at 9:54 pm
OH MY GOD! that was one of the most disgraceful things ive ever seen. GET THAT BUM OUT OF HERE! victorino sucks hes ahead 2-0 and rips at a bad pitch and then they SEND feliz for with chase utley coming up next? wtf? this team is a long way away from a world championship if theyre going to do stupid stuff like this. im out
May 24th, 2008 at 9:54 pm
DAMN IT!!!!!!
May 24th, 2008 at 9:55 pm
trade this peioce of shit……im sooo frusterated……hes worthless
May 24th, 2008 at 9:55 pm
Maybe that faggot Victorino will bitch about the fans some more. I can’t stand him anymore.
May 24th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
im so sick of this little retard
May 24th, 2008 at 9:57 pm
theres some team desperate enogh to trade a pitcher for him. right now id be happy is they could get some kind of a steady starter for him. throw in a lesser prospect or two i dont care. get him out, get pitching in. no excuses.
May 24th, 2008 at 10:04 pm
uhh victorino had two hits tonight, it’s not his fault smith sent feliz or that feliz is the 3rd slowest man in baseball. that ball was deep enough anyone with reasonable speed scores (bearing in mind that that was just some throw to get it close enough to make that play).
it’s May people, cool the hell down.
May 24th, 2008 at 10:04 pm
get that bitch off this team hes a disgrace….remember thats a 2-0 pitch
May 24th, 2008 at 10:06 pm
peeping tom remember we won the division by 1 game last year….fuck that bullshit its may…each game matters
May 24th, 2008 at 10:45 pm
Hey if that Canandian player can be traded for 10 bats I think we can at least get a bucket full of sunflower seeds for Myers
May 24th, 2008 at 11:13 pm
Victorino will come around just like howard is doing now.
May 24th, 2008 at 11:41 pm
Vic swung at a 2-0 pitch with the bases loaded and one out. EVERY good hitter in baseball takes there. he has to throw a fastball at 2-1 also, so you know youll get something to hit. terrible by vic. i cant have that on a professional baseball team.
May 24th, 2008 at 11:42 pm
its almost june, there is no more waiting. you want to be heated up by now like howard actually has started to do a bit. vic isnt disciplined enough of a hitter to stay on my team, sorry.
May 25th, 2008 at 4:23 am
I think Charlie intended to bench Vic for awhile, at least until he gets it into his head that he needs to be more disciplined at the plate.
When Werth got hurt, Charlie had no choice but to play Vic. At least, that’s the sense I get. Still, he keeps putting up two-hit nights, he’ll make good trade bait.
May 25th, 2008 at 9:12 am
SS/DD Same score, different day. Offense can’t get it done and Myers should be traded to Japan.
May 25th, 2008 at 9:58 am
Is it bad that I’ll tak pretty much anyone else other than Myers and Eaton now? I’d even rather have Eaton than Myers! Seriously Benson, Carasco, Castro, Savory, Happ, even Travis Blackley! Get a new face in before people stop showing up to Myers’ outings!
