This guy probably moved to Arizona from Philadelphia and is working at some restaurant that allowed him to take 5 dayz off to see all of the games played in Phoenix. He must have a really cool boss!

Whatever about the haircut. Let’s talk about pitching.
We all knew this was coming. We all, deep down, knew Adam Eaton was shit, and that it was just a matter of time before the turds hit the turbines. It’s happened. Now what?
What do we do? Geoff and I disagree on the worth of Moyer. Fine. But I completely agree with Geoff when he expresses concern about the overall rotation. Maybe we make the playoffs, maybe we don’t. But this is certainly not a team that will win a playoff series — or better yet, contend for the world championship — with this rotation. No way.
Eaton is toast. We all know it. He is going to continue to spiral out of control. I love his final quote in the game story on the team’s official Web site: “You don’t mind losing if you’re beat. When you beat yourself, that’s when you really mind.”
Excuse me, but I’d like the players to give a flying shit about losing even if they get beaten. This guy just sucks. Charlie knows it. Gillick knows it. Ruben Amarsehole Jr. knows it. (But they’re paying him, so they’ll force Charlie to keep playing him.)
The question, of course, remains: what now? I say give Chad Durbin a shot at the fifth starter spot. Can’t hurt.

good call lewisurance. i give moyer a hard time because i dont think they should have to rely on him in the 3th starter slot. i think you need someone in there that can move moyer to the 4 slot and takeover the 3 slot. a 2 would be awesome but its highly unlikely until the deadline. I dont like how they dont go and shake the lineup or the rotation up a little. eaton struggles for a few starts, sit him down same with kendrick or myers. let a nother guy come in and spot start while you make those guys think about what theyre doing and go out there and get their spot back. howard should be benched for 2-5 games depending on how mad they are at him. start floating trade rumors in the paper, have some fake discussions with the yankees about joba chamberlain and phil highes. try and put the urgency into him and make him think about his mental approach a little. remember mike keenan? he was good at doing that in the 80s with the flyers. he used to always make people nervous about getting traded away.

first of all that head shot is awesome….. second we need some better pitching. pitchers are scared to come to philly cause it is a hitters ball park but we need to shake things up fast….. my suggestion is to get rid of pat the bat while he is still hott (cause you know he is going to cool down after the all star break) and get a good prospect and a number Three or Four pitcher! pat is in his final year of his contract so do us all a favor and trade him for something good! and all this malarky about trading howard is just that….MALARKY! dont be that dumb… everyone goes through a little slump and he will get out of it…. chase looked great at first last night but he is the best 2nd baseman to ever play the game!! leave our infield in tact and howard will come around…..just wait for J-Roll to come back and you will see!!!! We will be fine!! Just tune up our pitching rotation and there wont be a problem…ohh yeah and get rid of PAT BURRELL!! our outfield will be faster with werth victorino, and jenkins with taguchi on the backup!

I love Philly sports but the best part about the opener on Monday was not my mans Philly Phade…..
Where we (Derek, John Matt, Lynn, Grandma Grandpa, Dad, Ashlee and I) sat at Fridays Front Row, there were Cowboys fans below us. We taunted them pretty much from the top of the 4 until we left. Chanting E-A-G-L-E-S, and just killing them with BBBAARRRBBEERRR groans. We were helped by some Philly fans sitting near them.
By the way….Dont order food from Fridays….their food is the WORST!
