Chase’s words may have been inappropriate but let’s get real. He articulated what was on every deprived Philly fan’s mind given our Championship starved mentality and utter lack of respect shown to the Phillies by every national sports media company. Everyone picked the Brewers to win, then they picked the Dodgers, then the Rays. The Phils were dissed at every turn. So while the fact is that his phrase was heard by some people who became offended, the VAST majority of people hearing it responded with a resounding YEEEAAAH!!! And if a celebration 28 years in the making doesn’t warrant a jubilant F-bomb here and there, I don’t know what does! The Phillies deserve this Trophy, the City deserves this Championship, and the fans deserve to celebrate being World F*cking Champions!!! And EVERY player in this city has better than average ‘character’ ESPECIALLY Chase Utley.

who made it to the nlds, or the nlcs? and for the people who say utley has no class, your totally wrong. if someone says boo to anyone of your favorite players – you’d tell them to f*uck off everytime someone said their name. and for the people who say utleys dirty, only one thing is dirty in this conversation.. yankee stadium for one, and possibly every new yorker attending that game.
