I thought you would be doing millionaire things in the bathroom excuse me, "city" you "own" instead of posting on a Phillies blog. We all know your 17 at the oldest and dont have friends. The least you can do is get a summer job and earn some cash instead of trying to instigate something or worst case scenario, find a blog with the rest of the bathroom scum.

NY fan here who thinks nyc pimp daddy is a moron.

for the record the new citi field will be amazing, I've taken a private tour. I'm also a giants fan not a jets fan. I know it's usually jets/mets, giants/yankees, but I somehow became mets/giants. That said Giants stadium is far from a dump, it's just time for an upgrade which is in the process of happening right now.

It's going to be one hell of a race all season. I don't think any team in the N.L. East is going to "run with it"

Don M misses Rowand - I do too.

With all that we say this team needs - anybody but Ruiz catching; anything of relevence at third and backup outfielders - especially a starting pitcher that will feel good about pitching at CBP (Bedard rox); I bet we most agree that the Phils easily could have distance between themselves and the remainder of the mediocre Eastern Division if even 2 of our 3 big guns were clicking at the same time. Any combination of an MVP like Rollins/Howard; Utley/Rollins; Utley/Howard - and the Phils have close to 55 wins now and near the best record in baseball.

We have seen first hand come from behind victories - like last night started to look like (Shane Victorino bobble head sunday) and there is no reason not to expect more of the same. This offense needs to step up big time if this team is going to win this years WS which I think they will.

Go Phils!

I can't see Winn costing most than an average spect. San Fran is just looking for youth, a new beginning from the Bonds era.

Randy Wynn would be the best or 2nd best OF on the team if they got him... but that ain't going to happen becuse they need pitching more than anything right now

Yea, its definitely a hitters park. But Wagner has blown a bunch of saves this year outside of CBP and last night almost blew one with a few hits and a walk, no HR's. I think he meant to say - "No lead is ever safe when I'm on the mound."

Disregard the idiots - every fanbase has them and they're not worth your time.

Clearly both of our teams are seriously flawed (like every team in our division) and it will be close down the stretch unless one team either a)makes a decent trade or b)implodes.

Billy - yeah, we're holding our breath every time he comes into a game against a decent team. His postgame remarks were pretty funny - he basically said no lead is ever safe in CBP because it's a bandbox (admit it, you know it's true) and that he knows it from experience.

Oh, and the only time in my life I've rooted for the Yankees was the '96 series: they were the only slightly lesser of two evils.

The thought of either Freel, Willy Tav, or David Dejesus gets me a little excited for possibilities. Any of these guys would jumpstart our offense. Hit for average and run the bases, we need to start playing some small ball. Geoff Jenkins is a diseas to this team with both money and production, he wont be moved cause of his contract and he wont sit out for an extended period of time, because of his contract. One of the worst signings in baseball since Carl Pavano.
