Sweet Phillies Posters

Posted by Brian Michael, Wed, August 20, 2008 12:30 PM

Chase Utley poster I wanted everyone to get a look at some new officially-licensed Phillies memorabilia by our friend Chris Speakman.

He’s created these before for the Red Sox and they have been a huge success.  Now, he has branched out to the Phillies and have completed ones of Chase Utley and Ryan Howard.

These “1940’s propaganda style” limited edition screen-prints are large (over 2 feet by 3 feet) and awesome looking.

The prints, for sale here, are $55 and would be the ultimate complement to any Phillies fan’s collection and make a great gift.

i would jump all over them if they werent 55 bucks

  2. TJ Says:

Yea, 55 is steep for a poster, they look nice though.

  3. NEPA Says:

Yea, I was about to click the link when I saw 55 bucks next to it. Too steep for my budget.

  4. danny Says:

I’d rather give the money to charity than pay for any Ryan Howard merchandise.

  5. TJ Says:

The more and more I look at the Utley on the more I like it but if he wants to make some real cash make a Hamels or Victorino one.

  6. Bruce Says:

Danny~ Isn’t that what a “frontrunner” would usually say at this time of struggle for the team? Howard? Is Utley next?

  7. Chris Says:

Thanks for the good words Brian!
    Just so everyone knows…
They arent posters – they are hand made screen-prints on archival paper. Limited Edition Artwork.
    Thanks!
