Tim - i'm lovin this 7 part series, great job with the in-depth thorough breakdowns.
the brewcrew offense is the only thing that has me nervous, but as long as our offense takes care of business early i dont think the crewers have enough in their tanks to pull of a comeback.
in fact the only thing i like more about the brewers than the phils is their logo hahah, i love that MB insignia (i will however never wear it on a hat, shirt, etc.)
i think we match or overmatch the crew in every phase of the game. and my armchair prediction of the difference maker in the series will go down to the bench play. if good ol chollie pulls the right strings at the right time then we should dominate this squad quite handily.

i just think with their recent collapse, the brew crew are still nothing to be too worried about. sure, they got the wild card, but thats thanks to the mets choking as usual and them playing the cubs c team. i don't think they have all those kinks worked out yet and hopefully the pressure will show how they are just barely sticking together.

the phillies lineup has that passion and chemistry that i think will be a huge help.

GO PHILS!

If Howard can hit some grounders to 3rd base like he did on Sunday in his one at bat it will really open up the field for him.

Georgie, that was very nice of you to say the first poster should get to go to the game :)

Hey, I think the first poster on this VERY informative Part III should get to go to the game tomorrow with Rob. Besides, I've been a good girl the past couple of days, very little swearing, cleaned my room, washed behind my ears. AND, I've NEVER been to CBP!!! I've got everything crossed.

I live with a rather reasonable Mets fan, and last night he told me that our only advantage over the Brew Crew is our bullpen. I can't help but look at this comparison and feel like he is completely wrong. Every important bat on the Brewers is in its first playoff situation, and I can't help but picture them curtailing the same way our own team did just last year. Next year? Maybe they beat us. This year? No shot.
