So are philly fans gonna throw OPEN mustard packs at members of the Rays family? source —> http://www.nypost.com/seven/10272008/sports/moresports/dirty_cap_raises_eyebrows_135515.htm
…and then philly fans wanna know why they are considered the most disrespectful and disgusting.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
Nice try, Mack + NY Post… we don’t even have mustard packs at CBP. But don’t worry, if I ever find you, believe me, I will look for one…
October 29th, 2008 at 4:17 pm
I hope they lock the entire Rays organization in the bathroom tonight. If you want to call us disrepectful and disgusting, we’ll show you disrespectful and disgusting.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:17 pm
Manny, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t all condiments at CBP limited to the condiment stations with no packets for anything?
October 29th, 2008 at 4:22 pm
man, i clicked on Rocky and the sun came out, shinin’ bright.. good sign.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:22 pm
It is extremely sunny here with a very dark and ominous cloud in the distance.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
SJ Mike: There are only relish packs I believe.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
yes philly fans are horrible, maybe you didnt listen to the roar of the crowd when cole got his last out in the pooring rain.. would like to see you new york dirt bags stick around in a rain like that. BEST FANS IN THE WORLD… for the soon to be crowned best team in the world
October 29th, 2008 at 4:27 pm
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….
It is more myth then fact when it comes to these ’stories.’
October 29th, 2008 at 4:30 pm
True dat.
Although I’ve heard that Rays fans are apathetic and sparse, while Mets fans are uneducated and obnoxious. I’m pretty sure those are facts.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:34 pm
I’m so anxious. I’m so excited. I can’t handle it. I just love Citizens Bank Park and I love this team so much. This is amazing. We’re doing it tonight. I don’t care how.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:40 pm
Mack reads the National Enquirer daily.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:40 pm
Please Phillies: WIN
October 29th, 2008 at 4:44 pm
on Espn News “Charlie Manuel says Ryan Madson will start the bottom of the 7th for the Phillies”.
So I guess that answers that. I’m thinking they want 2 innings out of Madson tonight.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:51 pm
nerves are kickin in again
October 29th, 2008 at 4:56 pm
Am really surprised Durbin’s not the first man out considering he can reach back to that starters mentality.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:56 pm
BREAKING NEWS: MADSON TO START IN TOP 7TH.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:57 pm
ah, i see griffin already said that. sorry.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:57 pm
Madson’s changeup has looked as sick as Cole’s lately so if you need to put your finger on a guy to get us to the 9th, he’s it.
October 29th, 2008 at 4:59 pm
YES! MAD DOG DO IT UP TONIGHT! Its good – Phils will score 3 times in the 6th. Hold down the fort, Mad DOG!
October 29th, 2008 at 5:01 pm
YEA MAD DOGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! Give them the changeup just like Cole!
October 29th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
NJ….you think this is the right move w/Durbin? I sort of don’t like it.
October 29th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
Lets do it. We got this. Weve waited long enough.
October 29th, 2008 at 5:04 pm
Something makes me feel uneasy but I like Charlie being aggressive here, I think considering where we are it’s a case of trusting Charlie’s made the right decision and Durbin did work himself into trouble at times in the past few weeks.
I wonder what this secret move Charlie has planned with the first hitter up…
October 29th, 2008 at 5:05 pm
DNL has Leslie Gudel and John Boruk live at the ballpark, they said they are freezing their butts off. It’s so cold Leslie’s eyes are watering.
October 29th, 2008 at 5:05 pm
^(like the aggressiveness of going straight to Madson)
October 29th, 2008 at 5:10 pm
WHY CAN’T US!!!!!!
October 29th, 2008 at 5:22 pm
I’m not too sure about the Madson move. I thought a Durbin/Romero 7th followed by a Madson 8th and 9th if necessary because of a tied game was ideal. Then put in Lidge for the 10th if it came to that. But who am I to question Charlie? He’s led us this far…gotta trust his decisions. Go Phils!

Madson can go 5 innings if he has to! LETS DO THIS TONIGHT!!!!
Nobody comes into OUR house and pushes US around!!!
October 29th, 2008 at 5:47 pm
The 2008 postseason will be crazy regardless if the Phillies make it. For
starters, you have the Tampa Bay Rays who, along with their name change, can
play and win against the powerhouses. With the Rays in the postseason and at
the top of the AL East, that means that the Yankees will not make it for the
first time in 13 years.
Back now to the Phillies. I feel that if they make it to the playoffs this
postseason, they will have a legitimate shot at the World Series. I know what
some people are thinking. How are they going to get past the Cubs juggernaut
and then against the American League. I think the real question is are the
Phillies hungry enough for it. The answer to that question is yes. While many
of National and American league division leaders have somewhat put the cruise
control on for the last month, the Phillies have been doing what they did last
year, kicking and clawing out wins to bounce back to a Wild Card lead. The
Phillies were in mediocrity beginning the month of September and were 4 games
back of the Brew Crew with a weekend four game series coming up. The Phillies
answered that call and swept the Brewers and won handily. The Phillies beat the
ace of the Brewers with small ball and that shows the difference between this
years and last year. The fact that the Phillies will do whatever it takes to
score a run or get ahead of a runner makes me believe that this team will not
get swept out of the postseason this year.
October 29th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
Is this a must-win for the Phillies tonight?…
I tend to think the fanbase would be devastated by a loss. No?
……
October 29th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
No, A Couple Things, we’d be thrilled by a loss. Wouldn’t you? What a stupid question to ask. Devastated? No. Disappointed? Sure. But we’re the ones up 3-1, and even if we lose tonight, we’ll still be up 3-2. Either way, we’re in the driver’s seat and in control of our own destiny. Now go back to your crazy anti-Philly blog.
October 29th, 2008 at 6:17 pm
Too bad the Phils are going down tonight. Shouldn’t have let the Rays score that run.
October 29th, 2008 at 6:23 pm
Ugh. Troll.
October 29th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
Do you guys still have the Rocky that was posted a few weeks ago that started with Adrian in the Hospital, Saying “Just Win”
Lets go Phils this is it i cant handle the excitement
October 29th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
No parade for the Phils – unless they hold one for the losers.
October 29th, 2008 at 6:55 pm
D. Young you’re the looser. Go hang with your cows and their bells!
October 29th, 2008 at 7:01 pm
The Phils blew their opportunity. They had a 2 run lead but the scrappy Rays came back in adverse conditions. I pity you poor Phillie fans.
October 29th, 2008 at 7:14 pm
Dmitri Young, is that you? I heard you spent more time at Ben’s chili bowl at the Nats park then actually on the field. Keep working with those insults, buddy.
LET’S GO PHILLIES!!!!!!!!
October 29th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
its prolly Delmon Young, the bat thrower himself. A little jealous that he did not make the World Series with the Twins. Nice Collapse btw Twins you made the Mets jealous
October 29th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
Found it this is a good one
