    Hey Tim,

Is something new you are doing? Great format. Keep up the good work!

    Go Phillies!

    Mike

  2. T Marty Says:

Tim, i love this format, and i like you posted them so early that i can watch with my coffee before work. and you look way cooler today! but then again, you have the coolest first name in the biz.

glad we’re not looking at that headache, Manny.

  3. peasant Says:

    Tim,

What have you heard about the possibility of trading Victorino? I think I read on MLB trade rumors that the Phils were considering doing this. Seems to be Vic was in the middle of some of the biggest plays of the playoffs and it would be a terrrible thing to do. Also, what’s the deal with Chad Durbin, I know he lost his footing a bit at the end of the season, but is he a free agent or not?

  4. Jroll187 Says:

    Tim,

Great idea. But you gotta admit you stole this from Matt Cerrone’s blog. It’s pretty much the same name and format.

  5. Tim Malcolm Says:

Jroll: No, I didn’t. Never crossed my mind. A lot of blogs have videos; I didn’t even realize the name was the same. And just doing a search of MetsBlog, he doesn’t do a daily. So no, I didn’t “steal” it at all.

peasant: The only way I could see Vic being moved is in a Matt Holliday deal; just today, Ken Rosenthal squashed that talk. I don’t see Vic being moved at all. He’s cheap, he’s very good, he’s coming into his prime, he’s the kind of player they need to hold onto.

Durbin is arbitration-eligible this year. Phils can re him that way.

  6. mikemike Says:

After listening to Randy Miller on the hiring of Amaro. I feel the same way as when Wade was hiring. Miller said numerous people from other teams were shock by arbuckle not getting the job. The phillies offered a contract to other people in the scouting dept. and were turn down. They didn’t like the handling of the hiring for G.M. Amaro according to phillies people didn’t attend scouting meeting unless he knew Montgomery would be there. This hiring will hurt us for years to come.
