Utley Wins Third Silver Slugger Award

Chase Utley won a National League Silver Slugger award for second base. It’s his third consecutive victory.

Other multiple NL winners at second base include Manny Trillo (2), Ryne Sandberg (7), Craig Biggio (4) and Jeff Kent (4).

    Watching espn and saw Keith Law. He suggested that Utley was his choice for award over pujois. Because he plays tougher position. and his number merit him to be silver slugger.

    Utley certainly deserves this award and if he was able to keep pace with his 1st half numbers in the 2nd half, it would have been a no brainer to give him the MVP. The Phils have put together a solid club that will compete for years to come.
