Eyre will probably more of the situational left-hander sent in there to get a lefty or two out. I really can't see him closing....but who knows..

I agree Chuck... plus, the 8th and 9th innings could go with Madson pitching 1.1 innings, Romero 0.2, for example... Depending on who's at the plate

Yeah...Madson and Romero were both 8th inning guys. I could see a scenario where Romero closes sometimes....depending on the situation and how long Lidge is out. But he's really more of an 8th inning guy.

Greg B...Chris I is an expert...didn't you hear?? He thinks Hamels is scared, Lidge isn't hurt at all, and that he's a better manager than Charlie.

Haha. Yes, Chris I. I think you are wrong.

Hamels locked in when it counted and all eyes and pressure in the world on him last post-season. But he is afraid of Santana?

Lets go, Phils! Tonight is Big W.

I think that Condrey, and JC have looked good also, but the 8th inning has not been their roles up to now, Like I said I have faith in Madson closing, but none of the these other guys have ever been in that roll, I am not saying they can not do it just wondering if they have the make-up for it.
