Important Dates in the MLB Offseason

Just because the season is over, doesn’t mean there is not a lot going on in baseball.  The Phillies have made some moves with Cliff Lee and Pedro Feliz, among others, and there will be plenty more following these upcoming dates.  All the major individual awards will be announced by Thanksgiving.

    I think that Nov. 20th is the day when teams can begin signing free agents that were not previously on their own team.

    I didn’t know there were winter meetings in Indianapolis…I might have to go hang out downtown and try to find Ruben Amaro Jr., maybe bake him a cake or something to thank him for Cliff P. Lee.
