What is this I hear?

So, I just got home from a night in Chicago and besides catching the first inning of Thursday’s game, I’ve had limited access to Phillies news.  Now I hear talk of Ed Wade’s contract option being picked up for another two years?? Apparently Wade was on Daily News Live

and mentioned something to that extent.  Of course WIP has gabbed about it too. Hopefully this won’t prevent Monty from still firing Wade at the end of the season.
