Martinez Strains Hamstring, Exits Start

Some important Mets news tonight, during their game against the Marlins: Pedro Martinez left the game in the fourth inning with a strained left hamstring. He gave up two home runs in the game, and left holding his left leg.

Matt Cerrone at MetsBlog predicts Pedro will hit the DL. Tough early blow for the Mets, who were hoping the legendary right-hander would give the team at least 150 big innings this season.

The Marlins won the game in 10 innings, 5-4.
