Who would you rather have right now?

The Phils lost last night, 4-2, with the offense drying up. They’ll hope to knock around the lefty Wolf with a different lineup – Shane Victorino is on board tonight. Rain is expected all night.

Padres: Randy Wolf (2-1), 3.68 ERA

Gametime: 7:05 p.m.
Weather: 60 degrees, rainy

Your gamenight beer:

Randy Wolf gave eight seasons to Philadelphia, earning an All-Star appearance once and, for a short time, acting as the staff ace. For him, we go with a pick from the Wolf Brewery in Virginia – the brewery’s Straw Dog beer. Enjoy it with some halibut tonight, that is, if you’re, you know, hungry … like … the wolf …

Go Phillies!

Tim first found the Phillies as a little infant at Veteran’s Stadium, cheering on a Juan Samuel game-winning home run in his very first game. With the pinstripes in his blood, he witnessed Terry Mulholland’s 1990 no-hitter, “Steve Carlton Night” at the Vet, game three of the 1993 World Series, countless games during the charmed 2008 championship season and various road excursions. Since November 2007 Tim’s been writing about them daily at Phillies Nation, becoming one of the world’s most popular Phillies scribes. You can catch him on Twitter and Facebook, as well. When he’s not talking about the Phils he’s relaxing with a St. Bernardus ABT 12 or one of his many favored brews.
