Seanez Ink.

Just a quick little quote. Todd Zolecki’s doing Q&As from reader questions with basically everyone throughout the year. Some are very good, some not so. (Depends on who Todd talks to. Dobbs seemed engaging; Howard seemed nagged.)

Anyway, he talked to Rudy Seanez and I found this funny:

Q: Former Phillies pitcher Eric Milton had the logo of every team he played for tattooed on his body. Have you done that?

– Brian J., Lincoln, Calif.

A: No, never. Never, never, never. I’ve got some tattoos, but nothing like that, team-wise. I’ve got 10 tattoos. I’ve got a trinity symbol, dragon, tiger, hana mask, cross, rose and thorns on the right arm and a warrior and dragon on the left. They’re just all different things.

Hilarious how he completely turns down getting a tattoo of every team, then says he has 10 of his own (one more than the number of team’s he’s played for). Also, the guy has every tattoo required to be a legitimate “don’t mess with me” guy. Really, between the tats and the mixed martial arts, I would never get caught in a throwdown with him.

Tim Malcolm

Tim first found the Phillies as a little infant at Veteran’s Stadium, cheering on a Juan Samuel game-winning home run in his very first game. With the pinstripes in his blood, he witnessed Terry Mulholland’s 1990 no-hitter, “Steve Carlton Night” at the Vet, game three of the 1993 World Series, countless games during the charmed 2008 championship season and various road excursions. Since November 2007 Tim’s been writing about them daily at Phillies Nation, becoming one of the world’s most popular Phillies scribes. You can catch him on Twitter and Facebook, as well. When he’s not talking about the Phils he’s relaxing with a St. Bernardus ABT 12 or one of his many favored brews.
