5 R-Phils Selected To All-Star Game

Rosters were announced for the 2008 Eastern League All-Star Game. The Reading Phillies have five representatives:

RHP – Carlos Carrasco
C – Lou Marson
IF – Jason Donald
OF – Greg Golson
OF – Jeremy Slayden

Carrasco has had an up-and-down year in Reading with more ups than downs; Marson has broke through and performed very well so far; Donald has been steady all hear; Golson started the season as Reading’s top offensive force but his Ks remain high; Slayden has more than 60 RBI so far.

Congratulations to those five. The R-Phils have the most players in the EL ASG.
