Amaro: Happ Staying In Rotation

Despite speculation that he may be moved to the bullpen, Ruben Amaro Jr. stated that J.A Happ is not leaving the starting rotation.

“Happ’s not going anywhere,” Amaro said. “He’s not going out of the rotation. He deserves to stay in the rotation. He has pitched very well. He’s one of our most effective starters.”

The future rotation is up in air, but Amaro hasn’t ruled out the idea of a six man rotation.
