Phillies Use Text Messages to Help Fans
The Phillies have announced the launch of a new service intending to help fans connect immediately to Phillies personnel via text message in the case of an emergency at Citizens Bank Park. The service is called “Need Help?” and can be accessed by sending a text to 69050 and including the word “PHILLIES” along with your issue and location. The Phils will reply with a confirmation text saying how they plan to respond to your emergency.
Now before you ask….no, this will not get the Beerman to your section any faster or have an usher bring you a napkin when your Heater cheesesteak leaks all over your shorts – this is for medical and security issues only.
Hopefully fans will not have to use the service; but for people that visit the stadium often, it is recommended you save the 69050 number to your phone.
