Atlanta Braves (12-16) at Philadelphia Phillies (17-11)

Derek Lowe  (4-2, 5.18 ERA) vs. Jamie Moyer (3-2, 5.70 ERA)

It’s a new series with Atlanta in town, who is struggling all around.  They are also without both Jason Heyward and Brian McCann tonight.

Jamie Moyer goes for the Phils, and hasn’t had much success with the Braves in his career.  He’s 5-9 with an ERA above five agaainst ATL.  On the other hand, Derek Lowe was sucker-punched by the Phils in 2009, but lifetime has really held the Phils in check. He’s 6-2 lieftime with an ERA south of three over 11 starts against the Phils.

Juan Castro had an MRI today and the Phils are hoping he comes back on Sunday.

Your gameday beer: Sam Adams Summer Ale

I saw our man RC here at the park earlier toting one of these beautiful beers. It’s the perfect night for one of these. Baseball, Sam Summer Ale, and some hot dogs should all do the trick.

Go Phillies!
