Update on Jimmy Rollins: The Phils shortstop will head to Clearwater next week to continue his rehabilitation on that calf strain. Once he’s deemed healthy enough for game activity, he’ll play in 3-to-5 rehab games before heading back to Philly.  Let it be known, however, that it still could be June until we see J-Roll.

To tonight’s game, where Kyle Kendrick will look to find some consistency. Good consistency, if that makes any sense. He’s had once good start (against ATL) and the rest have been not-good-to-awful.  Can he follow in the footsteps of Halladay, Hamels, and Blanton; all of whom have thrown beautifully the last week?

Brad Penny goes for STL and he’s been lights out.  Dave Duncan is a magician with these reclamations projects he finds. Penny has found himself up against three bad offenses in the NL (HOU, CIN twice, ARZ) and an enigmatic San Francisco lineup, as well.  He’s shut them all down for the most part.  He’s also 9-4 lifetime against the Phils.  AND, he used to day Alyssa Milano.  What gives?

Your gameday beer: Corona Light

To celebrate Cinco De Mayo, cut up a few limes and jam them into a cold Corona Light.  It’s the little things in life. By the way, Corona has a damn good marketing campaign too.  No one ever says a word in their commercials, but I’ll be damned if I don’t enjoy them every time.  Make some carnitas or tacos and load up on guacamole.  That kinda night. -By Pat
