Reading Phillies Report

Here is another report on the Reading Phillies from David Hoppman.

The reading Phillies got shutout last night by a score of 5-0. Tagg Bozied and Matt Rizzotti got the only two hits in the game. For Rizzotti, it was his first hit at the double A level.

Drew Naylor pitched ok through five innings giving up two runs. He didn’t have his real good stuff, but he battled. It fell apart for him in the sixth. Michael Stutes came in to relieve Naylor, and gave up two inherited runners plus one of his own. Hopefully the team can bounce back today and still win the series.

One thing of note, Domonic Brown was a late scratch from last night’s game. Not sure why, but when I find out it will be passed along for sure.
