Catching Up with Former Phillie Dickie Noles

This is the latest post from our new minor league writer, Jay Floyd of PhoulBallz.com

Dickie Noles is best known by Phillies phans as being a member of the 1980 World Championship team. Noles joined the Phillies as a rookie in 1979, and pitched two more full seasons in Philadelphia. He would later play for the Cubs, Rangers, Orioles and Indians as well.

These days, Noles works for the Phillies as an employee assistance professional. I caught up with Dickie this summer to ask him what his current position entails, about his memories of the 1980 team, about his thoughts on prospects throughout the Phils’ system and more. Check out the media player below to listen to the full interview.
