Could this be a precursor to the 2011 World Series? Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves, although both teams are the front runners in their respective leagues. Today’s is Cole Hamels second start of the spring – he was just dandy in his first, throwing 90-91 with good command. He looks locked and loaded for the season and may actually be ahead of the others as far as readiness.

CHASE UTLEY WATCH!: Almost as cool as panda watch but not quite. In any case, he’s still out as they monitor that knee. I would just like to see him get in about 40 at-bats, which can be done over the final 15 games of spring. So if he’s back by St. Patty’s day, we should feel good.

Phillies: Victorino CF, Young 2B, Gload, 1B, Francisco LF, Mayberry DH, Brown RF, Larish 3B, Sardinha C,  Martinez SS

Red Sox: Scutaro SS, Pedroia 2B, Crawford LF, Youkilis 3B, Ortiz DH, Drew RF, Cameron CF, Saltalamacchia C, Anderson 1B P
