HAPPY EASTER, PHILLIES NATION!

——–

Eleven. That’s the total number of runs scored through three games in this series so far at Petco Park. We told you it would be low scoring, but you knew that anyway.

Welcome Roy Halladay to the party. You know he’s just itching to get back on the mound after a disastrous game against the Brewers last week in which he surrendered six runs. My guess is, San Diego won’t be getting much in this game, either.

As for the offense, it hasn’t been pretty, but it has been enough. The nine runs in three games is truly a product of their inability to put home runners in scoring position. Eventually this will have to change, although a 3-0 start to the road trip is certainly as good as you can do.

Lineup: Victorino CF, Polanco 3B, Rollins SS, Howard 1B, Francisco RF, Mayberry RF, Ruiz C, Martinez 2B, Halladay P

Your gameday beer: Mimosas

No beer today, for the holiday. So we go with a brunch special instead – mimosas. Mix sparkling wine or champagne with orange juice and voila! A refreshing start to your Easter Sunday. Have prime rib today and honey glazed ham and enjoy a Phils win!

GO PHILLIES!
