VIDEO: Valdez, Baez, and Howard After 19-Inning Win

Talk about your unlikely heroes. Wilson Valdez and Danys Baez stepped out of the shadows and helped will the Phillies to a 5-4, 19-inning victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Valdez and Baez talked about what it felt like to be part of a game like that. Ryan Howard, who was responsible for keeping the game going in the 10th inning, told the story from his perspective.Valdez, still with remnants of the shaving cream pie in the face (compliments of Ryan Madson of course), was as happy a kid on Christmas. He may not be the most popular Phillie, but for one night, he was the star of the show.
