Good afternoon! Welcome to some mid-afternoon Saturday baseball. Even though it’s on FOX, you’ll be treated to a start by Phillies ace Cliff Lee. He’s looking to come out of today with a winning record on the season. While the Cubs starter, Matt Garza, will be trying to keep the Phillies in the yard as he rides a streak of allowing just two home runs in 59.2 innings this year.

The Phillies will have their World Series roster on the field:

Rollins SS, Victorino CF, Utley 2B, Howard 1B, Polanco 3B, Ibanez LF, Brown RF, Ruiz C, Lee P

Your Gameday Beer: Red Hook ESB

When you think of Seattle beer, Red Hook surely comes to mind. It’s flagship beer, the Extra Special Bitter, features Red Hook’s imposing logo, refreshing colors and oddly shaped bottles. And the beer’s not bad either. Judging by the name, you might think it’d be too bitter, but it’s not. It’s quite balanced and lip smackingly tasty. Have it with a BBQ chicken pizza cooked on the grill.

Go Phillies!
