ESPN’s Stark Says Phillies Still Searching for Relief

Jayson Stark of ESPN.com was a guest of “The Sports Bash with Mike Gill” on my station, 97.3 ESPN FM in South Jersey. Stark spoke first and foremost about Barry Larkin being the only player inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this time around.

Among the topics that hit closer to home – the bullpen. Stark says the Phillies haven’t completely closed the door on Ryan Madson and that Kerry Wood is also a viable option; that is, if he wants to leave Chicago.
