Phillies Nation Android App

More and more during crowd shots at Phillies games, we see people staring at their smartphones. Usually TMac takes the opportunity to plug the MLB App, but it’s clear that people like to experience the Phillies both in-person and online. So today we bring you a few Apps that will enhance your game experience courtesy of Verizon Wireless.

  • Phillies Nation App (Android):  Be a Phillies Nation reporter by sending us photos and reports from the ballpark and around the country.  The app also features notifications of new Phillies Nation posts, Minor League News, plus you can interact with our Twitter feed.  And it’s free!
  • MLB “At the Ballpark” App (Android):  Who doesn’t love spending the day at Citizens Bank Park?  Enhance your game day experience with offers and  rewards for checking in, interactive concourse maps, parking information – even order hot dogs and beer from your phone!
  • Find My Tap App (Apple and Android): Can’t get tickets to the game?  Find the nearest bar to watch the game with your buddies instead.  You can browse by which locations serve your favorite on-tap beers or just what’s closest.
  • 2012 Philly Pro Baseball App (Apple and Android):  If you can’t get enough commentary on the Phillies, look no further.  This app provides Twitter updates, blogs, columns and articles from the Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com at the touch of a finger.  Prices vary per device, from free on Google Play app store to $2.99 for the iPad.
