Phillies Help Lee Get First Win

It’s about damn time.

Cliff Lee finally (finally!) got his first victory of the season, striking out nine over eight innings in the Phillies 9-2 win.

Chase Utley and Carlos Ruiz hit back to back homers in the seventh. Ty Wigginton also went yard.

But this was about Cliff and his first win.

Even with the victory, the Phillies remain 12 out in the east. You’ve gotta be happy for Lee, however, the team is still a long way from getting back on track.
