The offense exploded last night! Hopefully the Phillies saved some runs for tonight. The sweeping of the New York Mets was huge, and the Phillies need to carry that momentum into this critical series with the Braves. This series will most likely determine the Phillies’ fate of the remainder of the season.
Kyle Kendrick is seeking his 10th win of the season. He ended his hot streak with a poor start against the Houston Astros. Hopefully it was just a bump in the road and Kendrick can continue his career success against Atlanta. Kendrick lasted only 3.1 innings in his last start against the Braves, but overall he is 6-1 with a 2.87 career ERA against Atlanta.

Amstel never really let’s me down, which is why I’m pairing this beer with a Phillies win tonight. I’m hoping not to be let down by either this evening. And, Amstel isn’t too heavy, so on a warm evening it’s rather refreshing. -By Pat
