Cole Hamels takes the hill in the Phillies Spring Opener at Brighthouse Field against the American League’s newest punching bag, the Houston Astros. Scheduled to follow Hamels on the hill are B.J. Rosenberg, Zach Miner, Jeremy Horst, Michael Schwimer, and Justin De Fratus. All of the relievers throwing today have a puncher’s chance to make the club out of Spring Training.

The Astros counter with Lucas Harrell

, 27, on the bump. Harrell, a righty, was 11-11 with a 3.76 ERA last year for the Astros in his rookie season.
