If you don’t get jacked up watching this, you lack a pulse. What a night it was for John Mayberry Jr. It was so good that he became the first player in Major League Baseball history to hit two home runs in extra innings with one being a grand slam.

According to David Vincent from Retrosheet, there are only five other players in the history of the game who have homered twice in extras.

Ralph Garr ATL NL 05/17/1971

Willie Kirkland CLE AL 06/14/1963 G2

Art Shamsky CIN NL 08/12/1966

Vern Stephens SLA AL 09/29/1943 G1

Mike Young BAL AL 05/28/1987

Pretty amazing night. Watch this over and over.
